Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering financial results, Legendary Customer Experience, and daily store execution in our farm and ranch store.

You will lead sales and front-end operations, coach Team Members, and help build a culture of product knowledge while aligning with the updated store operating model. You’ll be involved in scheduling, training, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Lead store operations, driving sales and profit, planning and prioritizing work.
• Deliver Legendary Service and coach the team on customer engagement.
• Assist the Store Manager with opening/closing, cash handling, and daily routines.
• Support hiring, training, and policy enforcement across the team.
• Ensure safety, loss prevention, and compliance in daily operations.
