Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help train associates while upholding company policies and standards.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and the ability to work in a high-energy team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening/closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and store policies.
• Maintain storefront displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas clean, stocked, and presentable.
• Ensure store assets and cash are secure.
• Train and develop Store Associates under the Store Manager.
