Job summary

Topdrawer is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations and drive a high-quality customer experience. You will act as Manager-on-Duty, coach the team, and partner with the Store Manager on sales, KPIs, and long-term planning.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong coaching, feedback, and team motivation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong operational and problem-solving abilities.
• Passionate about intentional living, design, and meaningful customer connections.
• Curious and ready to grow into Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, educational, and highly personalized customer experience; uphold Topdrawer’s service and storytelling standards; build local community connections and brand awareness.
• Act as Manager-on-Duty, lead the floor, and make key decisions during shifts; coach, develop, and give feedback to team members; support hiring, onboarding, and training to build a strong team; foster a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture.
• Oversee daily operations including opening/closing, inventory flow, and cash handling; ensure visual merchandising and floor sets meet brand standards; manage safety, compliance, and supply management; partner on product launches and seasonal campaigns.
• Co-own sales goals, KPIs, and financial results with Store Manager; analyze store performance and identify growth opportunities; manage labor scheduling and productivity to optimize results; drive revenue and customer experience metrics.
