Job summary

Family Dollar in Winnsboro, South Carolina is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day functions, supervise staff, and help ensure a clean, well-stocked, and organized store environment.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Previous store management experience is preferred, and you will help train and develop Store Associates while upholding company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs., with frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; uphold company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll records, scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
