Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Montgomery, IL location. The role includes assisting with daily activities, training associates, and ensuring merchandising and safety standards are met.

You will help manage merchandise flow, payroll-related tasks, and loss prevention while upholding company policies and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and supervise associates.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in merchandising, scheduling, payroll tasks and loss prevention.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; ensure a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Open and close store procedures as needed.
• Communicate and implement corporate directives and store policies.
