Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed and process directives and communications.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and lead by example with staff.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep bathrooms and store areas clean and presentable; manage trash and general housekeeping.
