Job Description: The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager in the overall functioning of the store and in controlling all activities related to the store’s operation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle large sales and assist staff to build multiple sales
• Open and close the store
• Assist Store Manager in creating an effective sales team, evidenced by motivated and knowledgeable staff, adequate coverage of the sales floor, etc.
• Communicate with manager regarding merchandise fit, popularity, etc.
• Understand and utilize all store software systems
• Assist in achieving KPI targets
• Maintain store displays and merchandising
• Assist with inventory management, including checking in and transferring merchandise
• Have full knowledge of the store’s inventory, including clothing, shoes, T-shirts, gifts, souvenirs, and sundries
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a lead or management role in a fast-paced retail environment
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Team-oriented with a result-driven approach
• Ability to multitask and solve problems
• TAM Card may be required depending on location
• Additional security clearance may be required depending on location
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug testing may be required depending on location
