Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (NAPA) seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-energy retail store, applying automotive expertise and strong customer service to drive sales and store performance.

In this developmental role, you will support the Store Manager across operations, inventory, and personnel while maintaining active customer-facing responsibilities. Some overtime and keyholder duties (opening/closing) may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive after-market service industry or willingness to learn automotive

Responsibilities

• Partner daily with Store Manager on operations, sales execution, inventory health, and team performance.
• Actively sell and build customer relationships across retail and wholesale channels (in-store, phone, dealer/wholesale).
• Model expected behaviors, processes, and customer standards.
• Execute opening and closing routines (security, cash reconciliation, end-of-day reporting, facility readiness).
• Handle administrative tasks: scheduling input, compliance documentation, performance tracking/reporting.
