Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC in Missouri City, TX is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, support customers, organize merchandise, and oversee opening/closing procedures.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, strong communication, and leadership skills to supervise and develop Store Associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness; assist in ordering and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe, respectful work environment.
• Ensure cleanliness and neat presentation of the store at all times.
