Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Bloomfield Hills, MI to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role covers opening/closing, merchandising, training, and compliance with corporate directives.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The incumbent will assist with ordering merchandise, loss prevention, and maintaining clean, well-organized store areas while upholding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Help train and develop Store Associates.
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
