Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations and drive excellent customer service in Benbrook, Texas. You will support day-to-day activities, assist customers, and help develop Store Associates while maintaining fixtures, displays, and inventory control.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a safe, friendly environment. This part-time position involves opening/closing duties and adherence to company policies across a busy retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits) and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
