Dollar Tree Stores in Evansville, IN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage day-to-day activities and ensure our store runs smoothly.

The role focuses on training associates, maintaining store standards, and safeguarding assets while delivering a positive shopping experience for customers. This is a part-time, on-site position at our Evansville location.

Qualifications

• Prior store management experience preferred.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore settings preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits per policy.
• Maintain storefront displays and general store cleanliness to standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Train and develop Store Associates and supervise as needed.
