Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Parma, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with daily store activities, supervise associates, organize merchandise, open and close procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role requires a high school diploma (preferred), strong communication, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred and ability to read operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug environments preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Protect and secure store assets and adhere to company policies.
• Help supervise and develop store associates and maintain a safe environment.
