Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Millington, Tennessee location. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and supervise store associates while upholding company policies and safety standards.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, plus the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred (retail, grocery, or drug store).
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Ability to lead and develop store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions.
• Transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize stockroom.
• Protect company assets and follow security procedures.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure safe, positive environment for customers and staff.
