Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with day-to-day activities and supervise store associates.

You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, payroll, scheduling and loss prevention, while maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming store environment. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a commitment to delivering excellent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions/concerns.
• Maintain store and stockroom organization and seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
