The role involves opening/closing duties, loss prevention, and supervising associates to maintain a clean, well-stocked store. The position focuses on leadership, customer care, and efficient store management in a fast-paced retail environment, with emphasis on teamwork

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in store management or supervisory roles in retail is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in organizing, transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and supervise store associates.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
