Job summary

First Cash Pawn in El Paso is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team. You will partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, deliver excellent customer service, and help drive profitability across a diverse range of merchandise.

This role offers $13.00–$17.00 per hour plus unlimited commission and a store performance bonus, with opportunities to develop leadership skills, recruit and train staff, and work a schedule typical of most stores open 9AM–6PM.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
