Job summary

Cash America Pawn in Jacksonville is seeking an Assistant Store Manager with at least six months of management experience to lead daily store operations and foster a positive, customer-centric environment.

You will partner with the Store Manager to mentor staff, drive sales, manage customer relations, oversee inventory, and ensure asset protection; compensation includes hourly pay plus commission and a store-performance–based bonus, with comprehensive benefits described in the listing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of management/3rd key experience.
• Promote a positive/productive environment.
• Partner with Store Manager to lead and develop store employees.
• Analyze store financial statements to meet goals.
• Commit to asset protection program.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets the prescribed FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise and ensuring procedures protect assets.
• Ensures asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
• Administer processes within the store including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested.
• Communicate clearly with employees to align with store goals.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of Store Manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.
