Job summary

Venchi is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Glendale, CA location to drive sales and champion the Venchi Service Model. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, training and guiding staff, and achieving store KPIs through effective planning and coaching.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years in an Assistant Store Manager role within a fast-paced retail setting, preferably with food industry exposure, and a passion for chocolate and gelato.

Qualifications

• Two years of Assistant Store Manager experience.
• Experience in running a fast-paced retail sales and customer service environment.
• Passionate about chocolate and gelato.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through a high standard of customer service and business acumen.
• Be a brand champion by promoting the Venchi Service Model.
• Support the store manager to drive stores KPI’S, goals, and results.
• Support all employees in their training, acting as a guide and motivator while continuously teaching and developing.
• Support the manager in leading the team in achieving company objectives.
• Support the Store manager in planning and well-structured follow-ups and coaching sessions with all team members.
• Ensure standards and procedures are met through a successful Store Operational Audit.
• Keep all equipment well-maintained and report any issues.
• Maintain food and safety regulations.
