Genuine Parts Company seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead our NAPA retail store with a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence. You will support the Store Manager across all store functions while maintaining active sales responsibilities and coaching a team to meet performance targets.

This role develops toward Store Manager and may require overtime and keyholder responsibilities, including opening and closing the store.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses or degree completion.
• Experience in automotive aftermarket or willingness to learn all things automotive.
• Leadership experience with teams.
• Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Knowledge of cataloging/inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Background in automotive/heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership.
• Experience in a parts/retail management role.

Responsabilidades

• Partner daily with Store Manager on operations, sales execution, inventory health and labor planning.
• Actively sell and build customer relationships across channels.
• Model expected behaviors, processes, and customer standards.
• Execute opening/closing routines including cash reconciliation and reporting.
• Handle administrative tasks and performance tracking.
• Monitor store metrics and solve trends for improved outcomes.
• Provide leadership, training and performance management for store functions.
• Support talent development and mentor successors.
• Drive safety, asset protection and continuous improvement initiatives.
