Genuine Parts Company seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its NAPA retail store in Greensboro, NC. You will assist the Store Manager across all store functions while maintaining active customer-facing sales responsibilities.

You will lead daily operations, coach team members, monitor inventory health, schedule labor, and ensure safety and loss prevention standards in a fast-paced environment. This role is a developmental path to a Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive after-market service industry or willingness to learn automotive products.
• Leadership experience and ability to manage a team.
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Store Manager on operations, sales execution, inventory health, labor/scheduling, and team performance.
• Actively sell and build customer relationships across retail and wholesale channels (in-store, phone, dealer calls).
• Oversee opening and closing routines, cash reconciliation, and end-of-day reporting.
• Monitor core store metrics (sales, inventory, customer satisfaction, housekeeping) and drive improvements.
• Provide leadership, training and performance management for store functions and talent development.
