The Opportunity:

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all day-to-day operations related to store tasks.

Starting Pay:

$19.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Performs management duties as assigned or in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assists in directing and prioritizing work of store personnel.
• Motivates, encourages, and effectively challenges employees.
• Assists Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, and training store employees.
• Ensures all employees deliver excellent customer service.
• Resolves customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Enforces daily operating procedures for store cleanliness, stock, and organization.
• Prepares food & drinks.
• Maintains a safe work environment, including loss prevention duties.
• Properly cleans and maintains equipment.
• Ensures proper sale and accounting for all products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Requirements:

• Must be 19 years or older to sell tobacco and alcohol.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Positive personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and perform simple calculations.
• Proficient verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in cooler environments.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, reach, and walk.
