Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 an hour

The Assistant Manager in Training (AIT) program is designed to prepare you for the role of Assistant Manager. You will gain practical experience in store operations, including driving sales, coaching your team, managing expenses, reducing losses, and overseeing merchandising and inventory control. Assistant Manager in Training positions are temporary, as individuals are expected to transition into management or other roles within the company during training.

Shift: full-time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What will I do as an Assistant Manager in Training (AIT)?

  • Provide exceptional service by greeting and thanking customers.
  • Follow, interpret, and enforce company policies with employees.
  • Promote store specials and suggest purchases to customers.
  • Ensure proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store interior and exterior.
  • Restock shelves, displays, and coolers to minimize out-of-stocks.
  • Clean the fast-food area, equipment, and stock.
  • Adhere to safety and security guidelines, report incidents, and investigate accidents.
  • Assist in training new employees.
  • Manage foodservice and beverage programs to maximize sales and minimize loss.
  • Arrive promptly, groomed, and in uniform.
  • Make safe drops per company policies.
  • Prepare daily deposits when needed.
  • Assist in weekly orders from suppliers.
  • Help fuel customer vehicles, check engine fluids, and wash windows as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies when the Store Manager is unavailable.
  • Operate register and store equipment when required.
  • Prepare cashier reports accurately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

We Are Currently Looking For Those Who Have:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous leadership experience in food service or retail.
  • At least 3 months of customer service experience.
  • A passion for excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude.
  • Valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
  • Legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco (NV only).
  • Ability to foster teamwork and react quickly to change.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and talk frequently.
  • Lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
  • Work safely in conditions with heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes.
