The Opportunity

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in all daily operations essential to store success.

Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties as assigned or in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist in directing and prioritizing work of store personnel.
• Motivate, encourage, and challenge employees effectively.
• Support recruitment, hiring, and training of store staff.
• Ensure all employees deliver excellent customer service.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Enforce daily operating procedures to maintain cleanliness, stock levels, and organization.
• Prepare food & drinks.
• Maintain a safe work environment, including loss prevention duties.
• Properly clean and maintain equipment.
• Manage sales and product accounting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 19 years or older to sell tobacco and alcohol.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Positive personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate electronic cash registers and computers, perform basic arithmetic.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work outdoors and in cooler environments.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, reach, and walk.
