Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring efficient store management and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Perform management duties in the absence of the Store Manager.
2. Guide and prioritize store staff tasks.
3. Motivate and develop team members.
4. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training employees.
5. Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
6. Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
7. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.
8. Prepare food and drinks as required.
9. Ensure a safe work environment, including loss prevention.
10. Maintain and clean equipment properly.
11. Manage sales and inventory accounting.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 19+ years old to sell tobacco and alcohol.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Positive personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate cash registers and computers, perform basic math.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in cool environments.
• Physical capability to stand, lift, bend, reach, and walk.
