Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day operations of the store, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.

Global Partners LP has been delivering energy to communities for over 90 years. Our services include Alltown Fresh, a retail experience with chef-led creations, and a vast network of over 50 liquid energy terminals across the eastern seaboard. Responsibilities

  • Complete daily accounting paperwork and transmit it by deadline.
  • Supervise, develop, train, and discipline hourly employees, ensuring operational standards are upheld.
  • Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations.
  • Maintain business records, review cashier accountability sheets, and records prescribed by management.
  • Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties following cash control policies.
  • Manage cash procedures including deposits and change orders.
  • Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and sanitation.
  • Ensure store security and safety, complying with all guidelines.
  • Coordinate gasoline levels and deliveries.
  • Engage in promotional initiatives and promote guest service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and physical activities including lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Access to all store areas.
  • Minimum age 18.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
