Trek Retail Corporation in Walled Lake is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager and drive the store's success. You will learn ownership, lead training, and participate in budgeting to run a healthy business while delivering exceptional hospitality on the shop floor.

You will experience leadership development, weekly service meetings, and opportunities to be among the top two sellers.

Qualifications

• Prior retail leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to train and coach a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfort with budgeting and financial review processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and assist in managing daily business activities.
• Train new and seasoned employees and participate in weekly service meetings.
• Demonstrate Trek sales process and be among top sellers in store.
• Handle hiring/onboarding tasks and delegate daily assignments.
• Maintain merchandising standards and monitor pricing and restocking.
• Use the POS to monitor sales trends and derive insights.

By focusing on the operational aspects of the business, they learn to act as an owner, gaining leadership and business acumen to take the next steps in their career at Trek.The Assistant Store Manager will take the lead on any training efforts for new and seasoned employees. They will ensure operational excellence from inventory to providing incredible hospitality out on the sales floor. The Assistant Store Manager will also participate in the budgeting and financial review processes to learn what it takes to run a healthy business.
