Location: Union, South Carolina

Position Type: Part-Time Hourly

Rate of Pay: $13.25 per hour

Work Schedule: Varying shifts between 10:00 am and 5:30 pm, 5 days per week, Monday through Saturday shifts.

About This Opportunity

This position is responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Family Store Manager in supervising the day-to-day operations of the Family Store
  • Supervising and participating in cashier activities, ensuring all customers are treated politely and friendly
  • Supervising and participating in maintaining store displays; arranging, rotating, and restocking displayed items

What We Are Looking For in You

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. and previous work experience in a related field with Children and Youth
  • Knowledge of effective and efficient merchandising techniques for retail store items
  • Knowledge of effective customer service techniques
  • Ability to supervise, lead, and motivate subordinate employees
  • Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, kneeling, or squatting, with relief periods for sitting

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Duties include frequent walking and standing, kneeling, or squatting, with relief for sitting or operating a vehicle. Work is performed in a stock-room, warehouse, or store environment, with potential discomforts from weather, noise, dust, odors, etc. Lifting and carrying moderate weights (25-50 lbs.) is required, with duties involving a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
