Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing day-to-day store operations and maintaining an organized, professional sales floor
• Lead and support sales associates throughout their shifts
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with new and returning customers
• Help drive daily and monthly sales goals
• Assist customers with buying, selling, and trading merchandise
• Maintain strong knowledge of sneakers, streetwear, designer clothing, accessories, and current market trends
• Help ensure products are accurately priced, tagged, displayed, and organized
• Monitor inventory and communicate inventory needs or discrepancies
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and register reconciliation
• Help train new employees and reinforce store procedures and expectations
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and difficult situations professionally
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and overall presentation
• Help identify opportunities to improve sales, customer experience, and store efficiency
• Take responsibility for store operations when the Store Manager is unavailable
• Help maintain a positive, productive, and accountable work environment

Nowhere Store is seeking a motivated, dependable, and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Stamford, CT.

Nowhere is a fast-paced sneaker, streetwear, and designer resale store specializing in buying, selling, and trading new and pre-owned sneakers, clothing, accessories, and luxury goods. We are looking for someone who can help oversee daily store operations, lead by example, drive sales, and deliver an excellent customer experience.
