Job description

Job Opening: Family Store Associate

Location: 215 S Mountain St, Union, SC 29379, USA

Position Type: Part Time Hourly

Rate of Pay: $13.25 per hour

Work Schedule: Varying shifts between 10:00am and 5:30pm, 5 days per week, Monday through Saturday shifts.

About this opportunity

This position is responsible for assisting the Family Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store.

Key responsibilities
  1. Assist in supervising daily store operations.
  2. Supervise and participate in cashier activities, ensuring friendly customer service.
  3. Maintain store displays, including arranging, rotating, and restocking items.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. and previous related experience, especially with Children and Youth.
  • Knowledge of effective merchandising and customer service techniques.
  • Ability to supervise, lead, and motivate staff.
  • Physical ability to perform frequent walking, standing, kneeling, or squatting.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Work involves frequent walking, standing, kneeling, or squatting, with occasional sitting or vehicle operation. Work is performed in environments with potential discomforts such as noise, dust, and chemical odors. Must be able to lift and carry moderately heavy items (25-50 lbs.).
