Job summary

Work World is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Pittsburg, CA. This full-time role offers $22.00–$25.00 per hour (DOE) with benefits and opportunities for growth.

You will supervise store personnel, assist with training, manage shifts, handle deposits, merchandise, and customer service in a busy retail environment. The position requires at least 2 years in retail, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service is required.
• Minimum 2 years of prior retail experience.
• Bi-lingual a plus.
• Assistant Manager experience a plus.
• Must be able to climb a ladder.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Standing for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist training all store personnel
• Scheduled opposite shifts of the Store Manager
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned by the Store Manager
• Open and close the store; prepare bank deposits and drop at bank
• Buy change for store as needed
• Process merchandise shipments
• Keep store neat and clean at all times
• Ring sales on cash register; greet customers and answer phones
• Assist customers in finding items

Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (DOE)
