Job summary

American Vintage, a French fashion brand, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Stanford team in Palo Alto. You will work alongside Alex, the Store Manager, and a small team to drive an exceptional customer experience and strong store performance.

You will lead by example, support merchandising, inventory, operations, and staff development while upholding our brand DNA and values. This role offers growth in a fast-growing international fashion brand.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of successful retail experience.
• Natural leadership and the ability to inspire and support a team.
• Strong business mindset and a customer-first approach.
• Positive, proactive and team-oriented.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a personalized, elevated customer experience and build lasting relationships with our customers.
• Support sales performance by taking on challenges, monitoring KPIs and turning insights into action.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Support back-of-house operations, including inventory, deliveries, replenishment and stock management.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and make the most of our digital tools and systems.
• Support the training and development of the team, lead by example and foster a positive, customer-focused environment.
• Represent the American Vintage values and brand DNA while continuously developing your product and fashion knowledge.

Born in the South of France in 2005, American Vintage is a French fashion brand inspired by the American wardrobe and its effortless, timeless spirit. As we continue to grow in the US, we’re excited to welcome an Assistant Store Manager to our Stanford team.

You’ll work alongside Alex, our Store Manager, and a team of four, playing a key role in supporting the store’s success and helping the team grow.

Your Role

As the Store Manager’s right hand, you will:
