Job summary

American Vintage is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member for our Stanford Shopping Center store in Palo Alto. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week, with duties spanning greeting customers, personal styling, checkout, and maintaining store presentation.

You'll work with the store manager and team to deliver engaging brand experiences, support stock and inventory, and help reach sales goals while representing the American Vintage voice and aesthetic.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to meet sales goals and work as part of a team.

Working alongside Alex, our Store Manager, and the team, you’ll play an important role in bringing our collections, style, and brand experience to life.

2. Bring the American Vintage spirit to life

• Be a true ambassador of the brand, bringing your own personality, energy, and attention to detail to the store.
• Help create an inspiring and welcoming environment where customers feel connected to the brand.
• Keep the sales floor looking its best and make sure our collections are presented according to our visual merchandising standards.
• Use our digital tools to support your daily activities and enhance the customer experience.

3. Keep things moving behind the scenes

• Take an active role in managing the product journey, from deliveries to end-of-season returns.
• Keep the stockroom organized and make sure products are easy to find and ready for the sales floor.
• Support inventory and stock management to keep the store running smoothly.
