Position Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will provide exceptional service to customers and assist the Store Manager with daily store operations, including inventory management, store appearance, and paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Help unload merchandise, organize stock, and transfer items from stockroom to store.
• Support in ordering merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs.
• Flexible, full-time availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
