Job summary

Hollie Ray Boutique is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager for our Fifth + Broadway location in downtown Nashville. This hands-on leadership role will work with the Store Manager to drive sales, coach the team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

You’ll lead by example, stay calm during busy times, and keep both customers and team on track. The right candidate has retail or leadership experience, strong coaching skills, and a passion for fashion.

Responsibilities

• Help lead the store and support daily operations alongside the Store Manager.
• Act as the manager on duty when the Store Manager is not present.
• Coach Stylists on customer service, selling, styling, and store expectations.
• Help the team work toward daily and weekly sales goals.
• Keep the team motivated, productive, and focused during shifts.
• Assist customers with styling, fitting rooms, product recommendations, and purchases.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and confidently.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily tasks.
• Maintain merchandising standards and keep floor stocked and appealing.
• Communicate inventory needs and store issues to management.
• Help train and onboard new team members.
• Delegate tasks and follow up to ensure completion.
• Support scheduling and team communication as needed.

Hollie Ray is looking for a motivated, confident, and dependable Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team at our Fifth + Broadway location in downtown Nashville.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll work alongside the Store Manager to drive sales, coach and support the team, create an amazing customer experience, and make sure the store runs smoothly day to day.

Our Fifth + Broadway store is a fast-paced, high-energy location with a mix of locals and Nashville visitors. We’re looking for someone who can lead by example, stay calm when things get busy, and keep both the customer experience and the team on track.

What You’ll Do

• Help lead the store and support daily operations alongside the Store Manager

• Lead by example on the sales floor and create a welcoming, engaging customer experience
• Coach Stylists on customer service, selling, styling, and store expectations
• Help the team work toward daily and weekly sales goals

Availability

This position requires open and flexible availability, including a combination of weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Because Fifth + Broadway is a high-volume retail and tourism destination, weekend availability is especially important.
