Job summary

Shoe Station is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations and drive a customer-first environment. In this full-time role, you’ll act as a key holder and lead by example, supporting the General Manager in sales goals and staff development.

You will train associates, manage daily tasks, assist with merchandising, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining loss prevention practices. 18+ and availability during nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain Key Carrier Certification within 60 days.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Age 18+ due to key holder responsibilities.

We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Great customer service and a positive attitude
• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Due to keyholder responsibilities, including store opening/closing and equipment use, applicants must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and working on your feet
