Job summary

Shoe Station seeks an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations and support the team. You will act as a key holder, lead by example, and help drive a fun, customer-first store environment.

In this role, you’ll open/close the store, coach associates, handle customer inquiries, and ensure loss prevention and accurate cash handling. Previous supervisory experience preferred; 18+ for keyholding; availability includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in retail or customer service
• Supervisory experience is a plus
• Must complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years old for keyholder responsibilities

We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Great customer service and a positive attitude
• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Due to keyholder responsibilities, including store opening/closing and equipment use, applicants must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and working on your feet
