We are seeking a candidate with exceptional sales and management skills, preferably in the watch, fine jewelry, or specialty retail industry, to join our team at Great Mall, Milpitas, CA, as our Assistant Store Manager. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, driving sales, customer service, staff management and training, etc. The Assistant Store Manager acts as the Store Manager in their absence.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Achieve or exceed personal sales goals and develop a comprehensive knowledge of merchandise.
2. Open and close the store.
3. Meet financial objectives for the store.
4. Coach and train staff to help them achieve their sales goals.
5. Recruit, hire, train, and coach employees for peak performance.
6. Manage CRM data, inventory, revenue, merchandising, and loss prevention in accordance with company policy.
7. Provide and ensure exceptional customer service.
8. Maintain store security, compliance with legal and corporate requirements, and a professional environment.
9. Ensure merchandise is clean, accurately ticketed, and well-displayed.
10. Service watches, including sizing and battery changes.

Job Requirements

1. At least 3 years of retail management experience with strong sales skills.
2. Experience in watch, jewelry, fashion, accessories, cosmetics, or luxury retail preferred.
3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
4. Organized and detail-oriented.
5. Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office.
6. Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, to meet store needs.
