A Day in the Life of an Assistant Store Manager

Assist the Store Manager in various duties including interviewing, scheduling, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions. Supervise and train staff in donations, processing, and sales. Operate cash register and POS system accurately. Perform opening/closing procedures, banking, reconciliation, and deposit duties. Complete reports on donations, sales, deposits, cash balances, and store audits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs.
• Operate cash register, perform stock duties, provide customer service
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math skills

Previous supervisory experience in retail or food service, with knowledge of cash handling, stock control, banking, and merchandising, is preferred. Are you self-motivated, a team player, reliable, and communicative? Do you take pride in your work? If yes, this role might be perfect for you!

Work Schedule

Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, with at least two closing shifts per week required.
