Job summary

Tattoo Partners in Houston, TX is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running smooth, client-ready studio operations while protecting service standards and safety. This entry-level, onsite role is full time in Houston, TX at $18.00/hour and requires a flexible schedule with evening/weekend availability plus opening/closing shifts.

You’ll assist with front-of-house service, meet sales and service goals, handle opening/closing procedures, cash handling and security

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisory/lead role in retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing setting
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort with POS systems and fast-paced, client-facing work

A Typical Shift

You’ll arrive early for an opening shift or step in for a busy evening handoff, check the day’s priorities, and get the space ready for a steady flow of clients. Between walk‑ins, calls, and scheduled appointments, you’ll stay visible on the floor—keeping things organized, communicating updates, and helping the team stay on pace. During high‑volume stretches, you’ll pivot quickly, keep the atmosphere professional, and make sure details don’t slip. At close, you’ll help wrap up the day, confirm everything is secured, and set the next shift up for a clean start.
