Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist in daily store operations, maintain inventories, and ensure the store's appearance and paperwork are managed effectively. You will also support the Store Manager and step into management responsibilities when needed.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating practices.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring stock from the stockroom.
• Help with ordering merchandise, record-keeping, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities like walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills in customer service, organization, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
