Job Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will support the Store Manager in leading all store operations, developing staff, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. You will help develop strategies to meet performance and financial goals, support team development, and step in for the Store Manager when needed.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Brand: Supervise daily store activities, ensure brand standards are met, and analyze store trends to meet customer demands.
2. People: Recruit, train, develop, and motivate staff; resolve employee concerns; promote diversity and inclusion.
3. Operations: Execute company processes, manage inventory, handle scheduling, and ensure compliance with safety and loss prevention policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Preferred 3+ years retail/customer service experience
• Preferred 1+ year management experience
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Availability to meet business needs
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required
