Position Location: Birkdale Village

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in maintaining a customer-centric environment by prioritizing customer satisfaction while driving sales. In the Store Manager's absence, you will manage daily store operations, staffing, and inventory. Collaborating with the Store Manager, you will lead a team of Associates and ensure exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and expenses to optimize results.
• Support staffing needs to ensure excellent customer service.
• Coordinate shift coverage and scheduling.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training staff.
• Maintain store standards around cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Understand sales goals and align team behaviors accordingly.
• Supervise and train staff in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail sales experience.
• 1-2 years in retail management.
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective customer engagement skills.
• Basic merchandising and visual skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift at least 10 pounds.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to work solo shifts as needed.
