Bless Your Heart Boutique in North Carolina seeks an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Owner, support daily store operations across Holly Springs and Apex, and lead the sales team to deliver an elevated customer experience both in-store and online.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate, driven, and fashion-forward Assistant Store Manager to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Assistant Store Manager works closely with the Owner to support daily store operations, lead and encourage the sales team, and help create an elevated customer experience both in-store and online. This role requires strong leadership skills, initiative, excellent communication, and a love for fashion and people.

This position supports both Bless Your Heart Boutique locations in Holly Springs and Apex, with responsibilities shared between stores based on business needs. The role also includes assisting with daily inventory movement and product transfers between the warehouse and boutique locations to help maintain smooth store operations and inventory flow.

The ideal candidate leads by example, thrives in a team environment, and is passionate about building customer relationships while helping drive store performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment where all customers feel valued, heard, and cared for.
• Build genuine customer relationships by offering personalized styling assistance and honest feedback to help customers feel confident in what they wear.
• Support customer events, promotions, and community engagement opportunities that strengthen the Bless Your Heart Boutique brand experience.
• Actively engage with customers on the sales floor while supporting store sales goals and customer satisfaction.

Leadership + Team Management

• Support the Owner in leading and motivating the sales team while fostering a positive, collaborative, and team-focused work environment.
• Help guide daily sales floor operations while encouraging strong communication, teamwork, and customer engagement.
• Serve as a role model by setting high standards for professionalism, customer care, teamwork, and performance.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Provide feedback regarding team development, training opportunities, scheduling needs, and overall store performance.
• Address team concerns professionally and help develop solutions that improve performance, communication, and morale.
• Maintain a people-first culture that prioritizes employee engagement, teamwork, and growth.

Visual Merchandising + Operations

• Support operational needs across both boutique locations, including shared time between the Holly Springs and Apex stores.
• Assist with daily inventory movement, product transfers, and organization between the warehouse and boutique locations to maintain efficient inventory flow and store presentation.
• Support daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, restocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and upholding visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure the sales floor remains organized, fully stocked, visually appealing, and aligned with the Bless Your Heart Boutique brand aesthetic.
• Assist with markdowns, inventory organization, loss prevention efforts, and operational efficiency.
• Help enforce store policies and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Communicate regularly with store ownership regarding sales performance, customer feedback, operational needs, and team updates.

Sales + Marketing

• Support strategies that drive both in-store and online sales while helping increase customer engagement, Average Order Value, and Product Sell Through Rate.
• Collaborate with the Owner on promotional campaigns, store events, and seasonal initiatives.
• Contribute to social media content and engagement across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
• Stay current on fashion trends and product knowledge to better serve customers and support sales growth.
