Job summary

AT&T in Goleta, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will help oversee store operations, lead merchandising efforts, and ensure a great customer experience with our telecom and entertainment offerings.

You’ll coach a team of sales consultants, participate in promotions and events, and engage in training that prepares you for leadership.

• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends and AT&T mobility systems.

Job description

Support the Store Manager in daily operations, driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and optimizing operational efficiency to achieve the store’s performance goals.

In this role, you'll partner with a store manager to oversee all aspects involved in the daily operation of a retail store. From assisting with merchandising and product launches to helping to meet and exceed sales objectives, you'll ensure that customers are provided with an extraordinary experience with our products and services. You'll perform additional outreach and promotional activities, including off site events as needed. And you won't be in this alone. You'll gain valuable experience coaching a team of retail sales consultants to ensure they meet sales and service goals.

Our most successful Assistant Store Managers have:

Our Assistant Store Managers earn between $53,200 - $79,800 in annual salary plus $18,000 in commissions yearly when sales goals are met. There is a lot to be excited about around here. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
