Jiffy Lube Assistant Managers

Jiffy Lube Assistant Managers are certified and proficient in all areas of store operations, sales, and service. They are responsible for developing guest relationships and setting an example as leaders, focusing on the career development of teammates. They provide consistent guidance and ensure all policies, procedures, and services meet Jiffy Lube's highest standards.

These managers are experts who ensure quality workmanship to get our guests back on the road. This role is vital to our success. Every Jiffy Lube team member receives comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning program, which offers up to 32 college credits through Ace Accreditation upon completion.

Physical Qualifications:

• Operate equipment such as oil guns, transmission machines, air conditioner service machines, radiator service machines, hand tools, and shop equipment.
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and overhead reaching as needed.

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

• Provide exceptional customer service to Jiffy Lube guests.
• Build trust and rapport with guests.
• Lead store team through coaching, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Assist technicians with oil changes, routine maintenance, and minor services.
• Manage store inventory, ordering, and receiving.
• Oversee store operations to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Ensure proper opening and closing of the store.
• Perform building and shop maintenance to enhance appearance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a dealership, automotive shop, tire center, or quick lube environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass a background check.
• Effective communication skills in English, verbal and written.
