Moser’s Grocery Store in Columbia, MO seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily grocery operations, supervise staff, and deliver top-notch customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist with inventory, merchandising, and cash handling while supporting store employees and maintaining a safe, organized store. Opportunity to grow intoStore Director role within a 100% employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Grocery/retail or department management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of store operations, merchandising, and inventory control.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfort with using technology for reporting, scheduling, and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Help manage daily store operations and ensure smooth store functions.
• Supervise employees, assign tasks, and support team performance.
• Assist with inventory control, stocking, and merchandising.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Support store opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, food safety, and health regulations.
• Assist with cash handling, register operations, and reconciliations.
