What You'll Do

• Oversee daily operations of the dairy and frozen foods department
• Ensure shelves, coolers, and freezers are stocked, rotated, and organized
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and storage temperatures
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and shrink reduction efforts
• Conduct inventory counts and adjust orders based on sales trends
• Supervise, train, schedule, and support department team members
• Maintain attractive product displays, signage, and pricing accuracy
• Assist customers with product questions and special requests
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulationsCollaborate with store leadership and vendors on product selection and deliveries
• Support promotional plans, merchandising, and department sales goals

What We're Looking For

• Previous grocery, dairy/frozen, retail, or department management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of inventory control, ordering, and product rotation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking and reporting
• Experience with POS systems and inventory software preferred
• Flexible full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

Work Environment
