Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager supports the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring a clean, organized environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting customers, and operating cash registers.
• Assist in supervising store employees, including scheduling, training, and conducting safety meetings to ensure policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise presentation by receiving, stocking, restocking, and building displays according to company standards and planograms.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through damage control, markdowns, scanning, and proper paperwork.
• Support financial integrity by ensuring cashier accountability, managing cash procedures, authorizing refunds, and handling deposits.
• Help manage store operations during the Store Manager’s absence, including opening and closing the store at least twice a week.
