Position Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist the Store Manager in daily operations, maintain inventory and store appearance, and complete daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers positively, answer questions, and resolve concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating practices.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items to the sales floor.
• Support ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participate in loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs; capable of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Availability to work flexible full-time hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, developing potential, results-driven, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
